My online course starts on Monday, and today was my day to log in and make sure it all looked okay. But a technical difficulty made that impossible.
Instead I went to see The Shape of Water. As far as comic-book-esque films go, it was well done. I haven’t been able to finish a couple of tasks that are due at work, because of other people’s failure to follow through, and so it was difficult for me to enjoy.
I bought the latest issue of National Geographic from the store and am going to spend what last few moments remain of today looking for stellar science writing. This year, the front material promises, is all about the importance of birds. It makes me sad that I’ve fallen so far off the writing wagon. I have a lot of if-onlys.
