it was cold and drizzly today, but I planted a lot of stuff.

(The tulips were planted last November, but are about to bloom and I’m very pleased.)

I planted: four types of strawberries, raspberries, and two different tomatoes. I also prepped beds for the herbs and lettuce and I trimmed some blackberries/weeds. Before that, I put the weed trimmer together and cleaned a very small part of the yard up.

I wouldn’t have considered gardening meditation before this month, but I’m almost all present while I do it. I don’t worry about my job or replay conversations from 20 years ago. It’s just hands, dirt, and tending. I’m in the moment and mindful of my actions. Which is what moving meditations tell you to do and be.

We made a bit of progress all around on the house, and that feels better. I still have very high hopes for everything, but progress.
